Alexandra Prout is Director of Primary Education at Ambitions Academies Trust. She provides professional leadership and management for the primary Academies within the Trust. She is responsible for establishing a culture promoting excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils; identifying priorities for continuous improvement; raising standards across the Academies; developing partnerships with the wider community; playing a key role in contributing to the development of the education system as a whole and collaborating with others to raise standards locally.
Alexandra is a National Leader of Education (NLE), NLEs are strong school leaders, who have experience of effectively supporting schools in challenging circumstances. NLEs work alongside teaching schools and other system leaders to provide high quality support to those who need it most. Alexandra has led whole school initiatives to ensure robust and sustainable improvements to leadership structures, pupil achievement and teaching and learning.
She leads CPD training on a wide range of leadership and management areas and has devised, implemented and continually models a highly effective coaching and mentoring package to rapidly move teaching to good and outstanding. She currently supports other schools’ leadership teams with data management to support pupils’ achievement, teaching and learning and rapid whole school improvements.
