Berni is a qualified graduate HR practitioner with 20+ years’ experience in working in local government before her retirement.  She became a school governor in 1999, with experience in secondary, primary and special schools.

Berni became a Trustee when Longspee Academy joined the Trust in 2013.  Berni is the Chair of the Personnel Committee and the Link Trustee for Manorside Academy.
