Caroline started her career working for a London firm of solicitors where she qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.

Caroline took a career break to care for her family.  She later became a mature student and gained a law degree.  Prior to her retirement in 2018 Caroline worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and also completed ELSA, Nurture Group and Learning Mentor training.

Caroline joined the Trust Board in 2012 and is currently the Chair of Trustees and a Member.  She is the Lead Trustee for safeguarding and education strategy and outcomes. She is also the Link Trustee for Bayside Academy in Poole and All Saints Academy in Weymouth.

Caroline feels strongly that AAT’s academies should offer all children, whatever their age, ability or background, the widest possible range of opportunities and experiences to prepare them well for their adult lives.
