We are looking for an outstanding Curriculum Area Leader of Technology, committed to our vision of seeing all students make outstanding progress and achieve their full potential in all aspects of their education.

The successful candidate may either have a current leadership and management experience or the potential to make a significant contribution to our rapidly improving Academy by leading our Technology team.

You will be able to deliver a wide range of Technology subjects at Key Stage 3. A specialism in Food & Nutrition or Resistant Materials at Key Stage 4 would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite for the successful candidate.

You will be a skilled classroom practitioner who is dedicated to high quality teaching and learning. You will have the skills, experience and capacity to share strategies and techniques for teaching Technology subjects with others.

You will have a clear vision for how practical subjects are central to the curriculum and lead to high quality outcomes for young people. You will be able to lead innovation across a range of disciplines.

Our recent Ofsted report (November 2018) confirms that we are a rapidly improving school with determined and relentless leadership in place to continue to improve outcomes for all pupils.
