We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Curriculum Leader who has the passion, drive and capacity to lead the English team at All Saints Academy.

All Saints Academy, located on Dorset’s beautiful Jurassic Coast, who have joined the highly successful Ambitions Academy Trust.  Ambitions Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust whose purpose is to provide outstanding education and improve the life chances of all the children and young people in the Trust schools. Ambitions Academies Trust provides an outstanding education across all sectors – primary, secondary and special. It ensures pupils and young people are given a broad and balanced education which prepares them well for success in their future lives. The trust operates a Teaching School for supporting staff development and sharing effective pedagogical approaches and staff joining All Saints will have a wealth of opportunity for career development.

The successful candidate will be a well-qualified, dynamic practitioner with a track record of high quality teaching and the ability to engage, motivate and inspire both staff and students.

He or she will possess a strong commitment to teaching and learning and to raising attainment and achievement for all groups of students.

Strong leadership skills and an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders are key attributes.

You will be able to set clear vision for the subject area, develop and enhance the practice of others and be fully committed to the Academy’s vision and ethos.

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Be qualified to teach English to GCSE
  • Have recent experience

The successful candidate will be required to have a Prohibition check, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check and, where relevant, any checks from time abroad in line with the Governments safer recruitment guidelines.
