Post: Admin Assistant to the Principal and Admin Lead/Clerk to the AAC
Post Details: 35 hours per week term time only, fixed term contract until November 2021
Salary Scale: AAT Grade 4 Points 6-9
Pro rata salary: £15,816 – £16,783
Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £19,698 – £20,903

We are looking for a confident admin assistant to join our support team for maternity cover, predominantly to undertake all aspects of admin support to the Principal and Admin Lead, and to provide Clerk to the Academy Advisory Committee (AAC). Duties include arranging and minuting meetings, supporting the recruitment process, maintaining personnel and training records, filing and document production, diary organisation; ensuring all deadlines and schedules are followed. The post holder for this role will work closely with all support and curriculum staff, across all of our sites. There is one evening meeting per term for AAC which time can be taken back as time in lieu. Excellent administration and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to be flexible when required e.g. meetings. The post involves the use of all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, and SIMS database (training will be provided), as well as regular contact with pupils, parents/carers, professionals and outside agencies. Candidates need to possess a calm and polite telephone manner and be able to work well under pressure.
