King’s Park Academy King’s Park Academy (KPA) demands high expectations for all. In everything KPA do they always refer back to their mantra that encapsulate the belief that KPA must have outstanding teaching and achievement. Its mantra “high expectations leads to high achievers” is at the heart of everything it does.

King’s Park Academy, formerly King’s Park Primary School, joined the Ambitions Academies Trust in March 2015. The academy provides education to mainstream primary pupils aged from 4-11 years from the local area of Boscombe and Littledown.

KPA endeavour to secure outstanding achievement, high standards of social skills and the improved life chances of all our pupils and young people. They guarantee a broad and balanced curriculum that prepares the children and young people for modern Britain.

All pupils are encouraged to have high expectations of what they can and will achieve, achieve the best they can, make progress in their learning, have a positive attitude towards their learning, have a healthy life style, feel safe and secure, be proud of their school and their uniform, be polite, be kind and helpful members of the community.

KPA believe that exciting, engaging lessons, adapted individually to each child’s needs are the best way to ensure every child succeeds.

Reading, Writing and Maths are taught daily in the school, ensuring that all children develop the key skills they will need. These skills are then used in other subjects, giving children opportunities to refine, practise and apply their knowledge. All teachers tailor their lessons carefully to ensure that every child can access the curriculum – whatever their ability – in order to succeed.

The curriculum will enable each child to not only enjoy their education but also to make progress and achieve.

At KPA, every child is important and deserves success. The school support and help every child to become the best they can possibly be. They want each child to:

  • Have high expectations of what they can and will achieve
  • Achieve the very best they can
  • Make progress in their learning
  • Have a positive attitude towards their learning
  • Have a healthy lifestyle
  • Feel safe and secure
  • Be proud of their school and their uniform
  • Be polite, kind and helpful members of the community

But most of all to…..

  • Enjoy school!

At KPA, they endeavour to achieve all of this, for all the children.

KPA is led by Mrs Lauren Dean, Associate Principal and Mrs Alexandra Prout, Director of Primary Education.
